Earth and SpaceSciences faculty have a strong tradition of incorporating bothundergraduate and graduate students in faculty research.ResponsibilitiesCandidates must demonstrate potential for research and effectiveteaching of university level courses. The successful candidate willbe expected to maintain an active research program, includingmentoring undergraduate and graduate students, and leading topublications in peer reviewed journals; assisting with academicadvising; and contributing to the service of the university.Teaching responsibilities will include: introductory weather and/orenvironmental science courses, climatology and meteorology, as wellas other undergraduate/graduate courses within their area ofexpertise. Candidates with interdisciplinary interests arepreferred.Required QualificationsCandidates must have an earned doctorate (ABD will be considered)in the broad field of Geosciences or Atmospheric Science prior tothe start date of August 2021.
