He also alleged a threat to his life from a fellow prisoner.Raigar, 36, who was arrested on December 7, 2017, on the charge of hacking 48-year-old Afrazul and burning him alive, accused the West Bengal government of not doing enough to deal with the “threat of love jihad.”‘Hindus must unite’In the two clips, Raigar is seen reading out from a written text, asking Hindus to unite against jihadis. He said his life was in danger as jihadis had managed to reach him and wanted to kill him. After the man incarcerated with Raigar in his barrack was shifted to another cell in the jail, the authorities lodged an FIR and launched a probe to find out how he obtained a mobile phone to make the videos.Preliminary investigations indicate Raigar may have used the mobile phone of another inmate, but no phone has been recovered so far.last_img
